Brian Turner, 2005
I saw this reviewed in the New York Times but admittedly it didn't really grab my interest. The title poem, 'Here, Bullet', isn't my favorite and the included except might have dampened my enthusiasm.
However, after reading another article in the Times (Shaking All Over) by Mr Turner, I decided it was worth the purchase. I'm glad I did - I don't like everything in the book, but some of the poems are really terrific in their imagery. I recommend it.
